How do you plan on practicing Maverick voting?

Will your vote challenge the status quo; defend the dignity of all people; and support causes greater than one’s self?

RUSHMORE OR EVEN STONE MOUNTAIN, OR SHELVING (GONE WITH THE WIND BOTH MOVIE AND BOOK) OR OTHERS REMINDS ONE OF NAZI GERMANY WHEN BOOK AND ART WERE BURNT, THIS CAN NOT HAPPEN AGAIN OR THE TALIBAN OR ISIS DESTROYING WORKS OF ART SUCH AS THE BLASTING OF THE STONE BUDDAS COMES TO MIND IT CAN HAPPEN AGAIN, WITH THE WRONG LEADERSHIP AS WE NOW HAVE, THIS IS A MESSAGE THAT DESTROYS THE IMAGE OF AMERICIA WORLD WIDE THIS IS WHERE WE ARE HEADED RIGHT NOW A BACKWARD AND DESTRUCTIVE MESSAGE,AS I AM A WHITE BORN AGAIN CHRISTIAN THESE ARE NOT THE WAYS OR TEACHINGS OF JESUS CHRIST MY LORD AND SAVIOUR. I believe Confederate monuments should be removed since they must feel like a slap in the face to all those who had ancestors who were slaves. The Confederacy's fight to keep slavery WAS NOT, in any way, a just cause. I have often asked myself why the South wishes to remember an unjust cause in which it participated, and I have never been able to answer that question. I know the Civil War is a part of history. I am not for removing the war from historical museums or history books--or rewriting history. However, I am NOT for celebrating the leaders who led men, many who died, many who killed fellow-Americans, to fight for slavery.
