FLASHBACK: Mavericks Needed
Who are the Mavericks in your community?
Almost two years ago, we made the call for Mavericks – people who challenge the status quo; people who defend the dignity of all; and people who work in service of a cause greater than oneself. Thousands, maybe millions, have answered the call.
Today, we need mavericks more than ever before. We’re seeing so many answering the call: doctors, nurses, all hospital and healthcare workers, grocery store employees, delivery drivers, immigrant farm workers, EMTs, firefighters, police, sanitation workers, and our military. They’re stepping up to the call – working in service of a cause greater than themselves.
Watch the video and let us know who you think are the Mavericks in your community and beyond. Post your responses and videos here and/or on Twitter and Facebook pages and take the pledge if you haven’t already at https://www.mavericksneeded.org/.
