This morning, President Joe Biden was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States of America. Kamala Harris also took the oath of office and is the first woman, African American, and Asian American to become the Vice President. During his inaugural address, President Biden spoke about the importance of unity, truth and justice for all. He also used the speech as an opportunity to send a message to international community and pledged to “repair our alliances and engage with the world once again”. Finally, President Biden addressed the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and asked Americans to work together to defeat the virus.
