One Big Thing: Do you use local news to get your community's COVID restrictions?
Join us and take our poll
While many COVID-19 restrictions have been enacted at the state or national level, most counties and towns have enacted their own local-level measures. National news networks are able to mass communicate the CDC and states’ restrictions but most people still rely on local news outlets to get information on their own communities’ COVID-19 measures. This is just the latest example of the importance of local news as it is able to provide its consumers with information that is more specific to their communities. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has forced many local news stations to downsize or close at the moment when we need them the most. Make sure to support your local news sources for the most up to date measures on COVID-19 and happenings in your own communities.
