
Are Big Tech Companies Helping the Government Limit Speech?
Do you think the Government is influencing social media censorship?
The First Amendment prohibits congress and local governments from passing laws that limit free speech or a free press but private companies, like social media, can censor speech on their own platforms.
Because government regulations affect business operations and profit margins for big tech companies, some groups fear that government officials are indirectly influencing social media censorship policies.
