We Hold These Truths
The popular will of the people in each state should be the only thing expressed by electors when the Electoral College votes are counted, if the Electoral College should still exist at all. I believe the Elector College should not exist at all, having too often overridden the national popular vote in Presidential elections. This is further compounded by the meddling of adversarial foreign nations. Modern telecommunications technology and increases in population have negated the need for the Electoral College as originally envisioned by the framers of the US Constitution. The nation is stronger as a united people, regardless of race, creed, color, gender and sexuality. Every single vote should count and no one person should override the wishes and rights of the majority.
