We Hold These Truths
The decision by the SCOTUS is a good one if it does not hinder a Constitutional amendment moving the election towards a system to better reflect the US majority's will or obstructs states to make that determination. It is within the spirit of the Constitution to allow states to make their own determinations on who they will elect for POTUS, even if it is against the will of the majority in either the state or the nation. The idea of electors was that they were learned people above the fray of partisan politics who would pick the best person for the country. This has devolved into a laughing stock where people choose to vote for candidates who don't want or deserve their votes.
