Police, nor soldiers should not have a ticket to harm those protesting against an infringement of their rights. And certainly police and soldiers should be allowed to take their personal prejudices out in the streets as they patrol. Worse than that are government bodies who are allowing the police and soldiers to do this. In the murder of Mr. Floyd, the police officers (plural) were clearly in the wrong and I am glad that they have been fired and at least one arrested. The overarching feeling in this nation has become one of anger and picking sides, and just outright rage. Mr. Trump does not help things with his endless crude commentary and his outright disdain for anyone he doesn’t like; it is only adding to the national climate of rage.
